Opted sends text messages for developers and businesses. This policy covers what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Your email address; phone numbers you verify; message content and delivery records; for businesses, the details needed for carrier registration; and opt-in records (time, page, wording agreed to).

Mobile numbers and SMS consent

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We use phone numbers only to deliver the messages their owners agreed to receive and to honor opt-outs.

Service providers

We use carriers and messaging providers to deliver texts, and infrastructure providers to host data. They process data only to provide those services.

Retention and deletion

Message records are kept for compliance and delivery troubleshooting. Opt-out records are kept so we keep honoring them. Contact us to delete your account.
